Nose Contouring
Nose shape often adds to perceived
character of a man. On a women, nose shape is more often
related to beauty. True proportionality is more
desirable. Nose surgery is performed with small incisions
in the soft inner tissue referred to as mucosa. This
tissue once cut is separated from the underlying cartilage or
bone and instruments are used to reduce the surfaces of these
areas. Cartilage can be reshaped, added, or removed.
Typically this surgery last 1-2 hours. Some surgeons
choose to pack the nose after the surgical procedure. The
nostrils may be packed 24-72 hours. Most swelling
and bruising begin to resolve in 14 days, however, the the
real results don't become evident for about 3
months. Final results can take 12-24 months.
